Hydroponically Grown Greens, Herbs, and Microgreens, Available Year Round from Our Farm in Williamsburg

What we Grow, How we do it, and Why

We grow and sell pesticide-free veggies on our farm in Williamsburg year round. Our veggies are grown in a controlled environment (a shipping container-sized space on our farm) using hydroponics, allowing us to offer flavorful greens, herbs, and microgreens that travel 20 miles or less from our farm to your table. This results in longer lasting, tastier vegetables, a reduction in transportation-related emissions, and less food waste since you won’t have to discard tired wilted greens that have been in transit or storage for long periods before they land in your kitchen.

We are passionate about heirloom and specialty greens which we blend into our growing plans with other popular varieties of salad greens and head lettuces. You’ll also find microgreens, culinary herbs, and sunflower and pea shoots, when you shop with us. We choose to grow this mix of leafy vegetables in order to introduce customers to the incredible (delicious!) array of greens and herbs that exist outside of a traditional grocery store environment.

Four ways to shop with us:

  • Purchase in advance through our online farm store and pick up at the farm.

  • Stop by our self-serve barn shop and see what’s in the fridge! We stock salad mix and herbs, and often have cooking greens, too.

  • Sign up for one of our 10-12 week greens subscriptions which are offered year round and receive a farmers choice bag of produce weekly!

  • Find us at farmers markets like the Florence Farmers Market between May-October.

*If you order from our online store or subscribe for a weekly share, we even offer home delivery within 30 minutes of Williamsburg center.
