About Us

Pause & Pivot Farm is a multi-dimensional farm, food, and creative business based in Williamsburg, Massachusetts — with a second home now open in Easthampton. We grow fresh greens and herbs year-round in our hydroponic container farms, cook and bake with local produce in our Farm Kitchen, host events to connect people with what’s special about our region, and build from salvaged and native wood in our WoodWorks.

After a combined 35 years working in the business world, we redirected our energy towards build a local, human-centered business around connection. We know a thriving local economy depends on people who live where they work, invest locally, and adapt to the challenges and opportunities of our time.

Our work spans our historic 1774 farmhouse, 1830s barn, and hydroponic farms in Williamsburg — and now, at Farm Kitchen Workshop (FKW) in Easthampton, an extension of the farm in the heart of the historic Mill District. FKW is a farm shop, grab-and-go café, workshop space, event venue, and commercial kitchen, all under one roof. Stop in for a quiche or a sandwich made with eggs and vegetables from our farm and neighbors like Lombrico Farm and Warner Farm. Order from the menu of scratch made food by our collaborator and tenant Libretto Café’s breakfast and lunch menu. Sign up for a hands-on workshops — like vinaigrette-making, and Kitchen Skills for Kids for young and teen cooks. Or join us for a pop-up dinner, a farm-to-table collaboration, or a night of libations and farm snacks at our pop up bar.

We're proud to be part of the Williamsburg and Easthampton communities, with experiences that invite people to slow down, connect, and stay a while.

Visitors are welcome at the farm for online order pick-ups, by appointment, and for special events, and at Farm Kitchen Workshop during café and shop hours (M-F 7 AM-6PM, Sat 9 AM - 4 PM).
